    Dr Davor Saravanja is an orthopaedic and spine surgeon specialising in spinal problems, including complex deformity (scoliosis, kyphosis), tumours, degenerative and paediatric spinal conditions. He has appointments at Macquarie University Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital.

    After completing an orthopaedic fellowship in Australia in 2007, Mr Saravanja travelled to Canada to complete the Spine Program Fellowship at Vancouver General Hospital. He then did an additional six-month fellowship at British Columbia Children’s Hospital in paediatric spinal surgery. Dr Saravanja is involved in numerous research projects and has completed world leading research in the field of primary bone tumours affecting the spine. He has also published numerous articles on spine surgery.

    Dr Randhawa is a Hip and Knee surgeon, who completed his advanced orthopaedic surgical training on the NSW programme. After attaining specialist qualification and obtaining his FRACS (Orth), Dr Randhawa pursued further fellowship training in complex hip and knee arthroplasty and orthopaedic trauma at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney.He was then selected for the highly sought after hip arthroscopy and anterior hip replacement fellowship in Melbourne under A/Prof John O'Donnell, President of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy. During this time, Dr Randhawa mastered the techniques used to manage sports hip conditions such as femoro-acetabular impingement (FAI), gluteal tendinopathy and hip replacement via the minimally invasive anterior approach. Dr Randhawa also performs knee arthroscopy, and his knee replacements via the minimally invasive Patient Specific Instrumentation (PSI) method. Dr Randhawa has published extensively in peer reviewed journals and has presented at orthopaedic conferences in Australia and overseas. He has travelled extensively to Europe, North America and Asia to train and collaborate with world renowned surgeons. He is also involved in the selection and training of orthopaedic trainees and preparing them for their exit exams. Research and collaboration is a vital part of Dr Randhawas's practice, and his interests include hip arthroscopy in athletes, the long-term outcome of FAI and labral repair surgery and hip replacement in the younger adult with arthritis.

    Dr Hsu is an Adult and Paediatric Spine Surgeon at North Shore Private Hospital. Dr Hsu received his medical degree from the University of Sydney, before obtaining his qualifications as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in New South Wales. Dr Hsu worked and trained at two world-renowned institutions, UCSF, San Francisco, California and Twin Cities Spine Center Minneapolis, Minnesota and is currently practising at NSW Spine Specialists.

     

    Dr Hsu’s areas of interest lie in all aspects of spine surgery and spinal disorders, in particular, adult and paediatric spine deformity, complex cervical reconstructions, spinal osteotomies and degenerative cervical and lumbar conditions. Dr Hsu has a genuine interest in education and research and is a participant in global spinal organisations. He is an active member of the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), North American Spine Society (NASS), the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and a delegate member of AO Spine.     Dr Gursel is an orthopaedic surgeon with interests in hip and knee surgery, arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement and revision surgery. He is a former member of the Hip Advisory Committee, and a current member of Standards Australia, the Arthroplasty Society of Australia and the Hip Arthroscopy Society.Dr Gursel graduated from the University of New South Wales with honours in 1992 and spent his junior years at Concord Repatriation Hospital. He commenced his AOA accredited orthopaedic training with the Sydney Northside Scheme and obtained his Orthopaedic Fellowship (FRACS) in 2001.
