    Dr Goff Quin is an eye surgeon and medical retinal specialist. His expertise includes caring for people with diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration and other retinal disorders. A graduate of Otago Medical School he was a resident at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital before being awarded a PhD in diabetic retinopathy form the University of Sydney. After completing his specialist training at Sydney Eye Hospital he completed further sub-specialty training in Medical Retina. Dr Quin is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and a member of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Retinal Specialists. As a Clinical Lecturer at Macquarie University, Dr Quin continues to research new ways to prevent vision loss with both laboratory science and as an investigator in large clinical trials of emerging treatments. He publishes articles about retinal disease in respected scientific and medical journals, and attends international conferences to offer patients the best available treatments worldwide.     Dr Ong graduated from the University of Sydney (MBBS with honours) and completed his general residency years at Concord Hospital. He undertook a Master of Public Health at Sydney University in 1999. His first three years of specialist ophthalmology training were at the Sydney Eye Hospital and associated hospitals. This was followed by a year at Townsville Hospital in North Queensland where he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists in 2003. He is currently a clinical lecturer in ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University. Dr Ong's interests include cataracts, glaucoma, pterygia, and diabetic retinopathy.

    Dr Merani completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Sydney, graduating with honours. This was followed by a Master of Medicine degree. He undertook his ophthalmology training at Sydney Eye Hospital, followed by a subspecialty fellowship in medical retina with Professor Paul Mitchell at Westmead Hospital. Dr Merani is a visiting medical officer at Concord Repatriation General Hospital where he is heavily involved in teaching medical students and ophthalmology registrars. He is a clinical associate lecturer at the University of Sydney in the discipline of clinical ophthalmology and eye health.Dr Merani has presented research papers at scientific meetings, published papers in peer-reviewed journals, is a reviewer for scientific journals and has been a treating investigator in clinical trials for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. He regularly attends international meetings to keep up to date with developments in medical retina. His areas of expertise include age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases and other macular disorders.

    Dr Males specialises in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. He is a consultant ophthalmologist at Sydney Eye Hospital and a clinical senior lecturer at Sydney University. Dr Males performs all forms of laser vision correction surgery. He studied medicine and underwent his ophthalmic training at Sydney Eye Hospital where he was also professorial senior registrar, as well as being in charge of registrar teaching. He spent time in the UK for further training in corneal, cataract and refractive surgery and completed his master's degree in epidemiology.
