Ray Sacks is Professor and Head of Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Macquarie University in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.  He is also a Clinical Professor at Sydney University and is the Academic Head of the Department of ENT Surgery at Concord Hospital in Sydney . He was the Chief Examiner in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons from 2012-2014 and was the President of  the Australian and New Zealand Rhinologic Society from 2008-2013. He is a Past President of the NSW branch of the ASOHNS Society and has convened multiple conferences, Endoscopic Sinus Surgical courses and workshops throughout Australia, Asia and North and South America. Ray is an associate editor and sits on the Editorial Boards of both the American Journal of  Rhinology and Allergy and the British Journal of Laryngology and Otology. He has published over 100 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and 13 book chapters. He was recently awarded the Australian Society of Otolaryngology – Head and neck Surgery Medal for 2015 for “Outstanding Contribution to the Art and Science of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery” and was awarded the International Rhinology Society medal for “Distinguished service to the International Rhinologic Community” in Brazil in May this year.

Associate Professor Harvey currently works as a dedicated rhinologist (nose, sinus, allergy and endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery) at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney. He is Head of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the Applied Medical Research Centre of the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and is an associate professor at both UNSW and Macquarie University. After several years of post-training fellowships, including formal fellowships in the US and UK,  Associate Professor Harvey now practices in Sydney as one of only a few dedicated rhinologists in the country. He has authored over 100 publications, abstracts and book chapters and currently sits on the editorial board for the Rhinology Journal and the International Forum of Allergy and Rhinology.  Associate Professor Harvey is an associate editor for the American Journal of Rhinology and Allergy and is actively involved in research programs in Sydney. He runs a series of courses with St Vincent’s Hospital every year to further rhinologic education and training in Australia.

Raewyn is a rhinologist and skull base surgeon based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital and The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney, Australia. Raewyn completed fellowships in rhinology and skull base surgery at Auckland City and North Shore Hospitals in Auckland, New Zealand, The Hospital for the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and at Ohio State University Hospital/The James Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Columbus, Ohio.
Raewyn has published over 40 journal articles and book chapters and has presented at specialist conferences all over the world. She is actively involved in teaching medical students and ear, nose and throat surgical trainees and teaches at rhinology and skull base courses internationally.

Dr Davidson graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994, and served as a medical officer in the Royal Australian Navy until 2002, where he attained the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander. He then undertook neurosurgical specialisation, and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. He currently holds clinical appointments at Macquarie University Hospital and Nepean Hospital. Dr Davidson’s current research is focused on improving safety and efficacy in the management of brain AVMs by studying the molecular biology of AVM endothelial cells.

Dr Siu is a graduate of the University of Sydney and obtained his doctorate in visual neuroscience from the University of New South Wales. After completing his neurosurgery training in Sydney, Dr Siu joined the fellowship program at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the US where he received subspecialty training in the management of brain, spine and peripheral nerve tumours. His clinical expertise includes awake surgery, multimodal imaging and electrophysiology-guided surgery for eloquent brain and spinal surgery for degenerative and malignant disease. He is currently appointed as a clinical senior lecturer at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine at Macquarie University.
