Dr Al Muderis is an orthopaedic surgeon and a clinical lecturer at Macquarie University and The Australian School of Advanced Medicine, specialising in hip, knee and trauma surgery for the adult and paediatric population. He has special expertise in hip arthroscopy for femoral-acetabular impingement syndrome as well as soft tissue damage to the hip.

Dr Al Muderis received formal training in Europe on the anterior approach total hip replacement, which is gaining significant popularity worldwide. He also has special interest in ACL reconstruction using anatomy preserving technology and total knee replacement using computerised navigation technology. Dr Arianayagam is a urologist specialising in urologic oncology.  Dr Arianayagam is trained in the treatment of all urologic malignancies and has a special interest in prostate, kidney and bladder cancer. He is fully trained in robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery and also treats patients with general urological problems. Dr Arianayagam graduated from Sydney University and completed urology training in NSW. Dr Arvind's clinical interests include glaucoma, cataract and visual electrophysiology. Having completed a PhD, she continues to be an active researcher, publishing refereed scientific papers. Dr Arvind completed her postgraduate training in ophthalmology in India. She then undertook post-specialist training in glaucoma, initially at Sankara Nethralaya, one of the largest eye hospitals in India, and subsequently at the Sydney Eye Hospital.

Dr Assaad's subspecialty interests include the treatment of complex aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, dural fistulas and cavernomas. He also does stroke prevention surgery, including brain bypass surgery and carotid surgery. He graduated (with honours) from the University of Sydney.

Dr Bala specialises in cataract, cornea and refractive surgery as well as in glaucoma surgery, having comprehensive experience in the anterior segment of the eye. Dr Bala graduated from the University of Sydney with honours. He completed an additional year of research for which he was awarded a Bachelor of Science (Med) (honours). He completed his general ophthalmic training at Sydney Eye Hospital and has a PhD in ophthalmology. He completed further subspecialty training in Australia and overseas.

Dr Bala completed a glaucoma fellowship with Associate Professor Paul Healy at Westmead Hospital. He also completed a cornea fellowship with Dr Gerrit Melles in Holland, and a refractive fellowship with Dr Ioannis Aslanides in Greece. Dr Bala has a number of research publications and is a senior clinical lecturer at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine. He operates at Epping Day Surgery and performs refractive laser surgery at Personaleyes in Paramatta and at the York Street Clinic. Dr Bala is fluent in English, Tamil and Hindi.
