Dr Daniel Nguyen is a speciality trained Vascular and Endovascular surgeon who is passionate about providing the best possible care for his patients. He specialises in varicose and deep vein surgery, carotid surgery, aortic surgery, peripheral arterial surgery, access surgery, diabetic foot disease, complex ulcer management and thrombosis intervention. He performs operations through open, endovascular and hybrid techniques.

Dr Nguyen graduated with his medical degree from the University of New South Wales with Honors. He obtained a Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2011. He underwent further training and obtained a second Fellowship in Vascular Surgery with the College in 2016. He also holds a Masters in Surgery through the University of Sydney.

Dr Nguyen has undergone extensive surgical training at St George, Liverpool, St Vincents Melbourne, Queen Elizabeth, Wollongong, Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals. He has current appointments in Macquarie University, Norwest Private, Nepean Private and Nepean Public Hospitals.

Dr Nguyen is trained and comfortable with new vascular advances, devices and technologies including laser and radiofrequency ablation, sclerotherapy and glue, atherectomy, mechanicopharmacological thrombolysis, angioplasty and stenting.

Dr Di Mascio is a leading specialist vascular surgeon. He is well versed in both open surgical intervention and minimally invasive (endovascular) techniques in the management of carotid disease, aortic occlusive and aneurysmal disease, peripheral vascular disease, renal and mesenteric disease, and varicose veins and venous pathology. He also has an interest in the diabetic foot and ulceration, with revascularisation by open surgery and endovascular techniques. In addition to this, he is able to offer all access surgery for end-stage renal failure as well as Hickman and Portacath lines for chemotherapy.

Prior to his vascular surgery training, Dr Di Mascio completed two years of accredited training in general surgery. His vascular surgery training was performed at a number of hospitals, including two high-volume centres, namely Westmead and Liverpool Hospitals in Sydney. As well as working from Macquarie University Hospital, he has a practice based at Westmead Public Hospital, where he is also Clinical Superintendent for Surgery. He also has clinical privileges at Auburn and Blacktown Hospitals.

Dr Steven Dubenec is a vascular and endovascular surgeon who is in private practice in Crows Nest, Camperdown and Orange. He has clinical appointments at The Mater Hospital, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and Strathfield Private Hospital. He has a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons specialising in Vascular Surgery. Dr Steven Dubenec is the Head of Department of Vascular Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred. He is currently involved in both National and New South Wales based committees devoted to improving the level of understanding, diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease. He is also involved in international clinical trials for peripheral arterial disease. He is a member of the Australian & New Zealand Society of Vascular Surgeons, Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Royal Society of Medicine. Clinical interests and areas of expertise include:

Dr Mohabbat is a vascular surgeon who completed training with the RACS and then spent two years in the Cleveland Clinic in the US in subspecialty training. He specialises in endovascular stent graft repairs for aortic aneurysms and dissections including fenestrated and branched repairs, carotid endarterectomy and carotid artery stenting. Lower extremity endovascular treatments include angioplasty, stenting, laser arthrectomy and endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins.

Dr Mohan is a vascular surgeon. He carried out his training at major vascular units in the UK, including at St Mary's Hospital in London, Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital. He was a consultant vascular surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary from 2001-2006, and undertook further training in endovascular techniques in Sydney, Australia. In 2006 he relocated to Australia and is now a clinical senior lecturer with the University of Sydney. Dr Mohan continues to be an examiner with the European Board of Vascular Surgery Qualifications, and also for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Dr Mohan did research at Imperial College, University of London, for a doctor of medicine research degree (MD) into peripheral arterial disease, homocysteine and platelet function. He serves as a reviewer for a number of international medical journals and has many publications in the field of vascular and endovascular surgery.
