Dr Deborah Cheung, breast-oncoplastic surgeon, obtained her medical degree in 1993 at the University of Sydney and obtained her FRACS in 2001. Dr Cheung completed her training at the Surgical Oncology unit at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney.

Over the years she has visited many international institutions to learn from renowned surgeons including those at Harvard Medical School, UCLA, Milan and London. Her expertise in breast surgery includes skin sparing and nipple sparing mastectomies; oncoplastic breast conservation, immediate and delayed, prosthetic and autologous breast reconstruction; breast reduction and lift surgery, and breast symmetrisation surgery.

Dr Cheung now works from the Clinical Care Centre at Macquarie University Hospital. She is one of the first few Australian breast surgeons experienced in oncoplastic techniques.

Dr Cheung understands that making decisions about breast surgery is highly personal and anxiety provoking, and she is dedicated in the provision of the latest evidence-based methods to tailor her approach to suit each individual. Dr Cheung is very pleased to be part of the multidisciplinary breast cancer team at Macquarie University Hospital. This comprehensive and coordinated service provides immediate assessment and surgical planning in collaboration with Macquarie Medical Imaging, offering same day mammograms, breast ultrasounds and biopsies.

Dr Oh graduated from medical school at University of New South Wales and underwent surgical training at Westmead hospital. After receiving his fellowship from Royal Australasian College of Surgeons he undertook a year of fellowship in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at Westmead Hospital. This was followed by two further years of Breast and Endocrine Surgical Fellowship at the Centre for Breast Health, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. As well as extensive training and competency in general surgical procedures including hernia and biliary surgery, he  has a special interest  and experience in the treatment of breast cancer and reconstruction and thyroid/parathyroid disorders. Dr Oh is a member of Breast Surgeons Australia and New Zealand.

Dr Jeremy Hsu is a general surgeon with subspecialty training in breast cancer surgery as well as trauma/surgical critical care. Dr Hsu undertook surgical training at Royal North Shore Hospital, Westmead Hospital and Nepean Hospital. He then spent a year at Harborview Medical Centre in Seattle, Washington, US, where he also completed a fellowship in trauma/surgical critical care. Following this, he completed a breast cancer surgery fellowship at the Westmead Breast Cancer Institute. It was here where he gained considerable experience in multidisciplinary cancer care, as well as advanced surgical techniques.
