Joseph Chiha received his medical degree with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2003. He then completed his internal medicine and adult cardiology training through the Westmead Hospital Network. Dr Chiha was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2009.

Following his PhD, he undertook a 2 year fellowship in complex interventional cardiology at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre in Toronto, Canada, in association with the Toronto General Hospital. This is a world leader in the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease. He returned in 2016 bringing his experience and motivation to MQ Health. His clinical interests include integrating diagnostic and therapeutic cardiology and invasive coronary procedures including angiography and stenting. Dr Joseph Chiha is a general cardiologist with sub-specialty training and accreditation in interventional cardiology.


His training experience includes all areas of cardiology:

- ischaemic heart disease/ coronary artery disease

- arrhythmia

- heart failure

- pre-operative assessment


Dr Chiha also has experience in aged care and the renal complications of coronary disease, especially contrast nephropathy and coronary interventions. He is a consultant cardiologist for Douglass Hanly Moir Cardiac Services, responsible for the interpretation and reporting of 24 hour ambulatory blood pressure monitors, electrocardiograms and holter monitors. He believes a consultative approach to cardiology and thorough communication with each member of the medical team responsible for his patients is paramount to excellent care.

Dr William Chik is an Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Cardiac Device Implantation Specialist and adult General Cardiologist. He has public appointments as a Consultant Cardiologist at Westmead and Auburn Public Hospitals. He is an accredited Cardiologist at Macquarie University Hospital, Westmead Private and Norwest Private Hospitals.
Dr Chik has extensive experience in general cardiology, hypertension and heart failure management. He specializes in management of heart rhythm disorders and is an expert in radiofrequency ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. He has special interests in cardiac device implantation including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators and biventricular pacing to deliver cardiac resynchronization therapy in heart failure patients.

Dr Chik was awarded his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degrees in 2002. He completed advanced cardiology training at Westmead Hospital. He is a Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Sydney. His enthusiasm and ongoing commitment to active clinical teaching led to his position as Clinical Lead for Post-Graduate Cardiology Training at Westmead Hospital.
He returned to Australia following the completion of his Clinical Interventional Fellowship specializing in Cardiac Arrhythmias and Cardiac Device Management at the prestigious Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA (2013-2015) where he worked and published clinical research with numerous renowned world leading experts in the field.

He was awarded his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by the Faculty of Medicine at The University of Sydney. Outstanding cardiac research output has been highlighted by over 100 national and international peer reviewed publications and abstract presentations, culminating in international recognition and awards from the cardiac electrophysiology community.

Dr Chik is a current Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (FCSANZ) and American College of Cardiology (FACC).
He speaks fluent Cantonese and conversant in Mandarin.

Dr Danny Chou is a specialist gynaecologist, specialising in advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgery. His special interests include severe endometriosis, difficult hysterectomy, laparoscopic removal of large and multiple fibroids and complex prolapse surgery.

Dr Chou is a da Vinci robotic-trained surgeon. Dr Vincent Chow (BSc(Med), MBBS (Hons), PhD, FRACP, FCSANZ) is a general cardiologist who 
graduated with Honours from the University of New South Wales. He
 completed his cardiology specialist training and echocardiography
 fellowship at Concord Hospital in 2010, and was awarded his PhD degree at The University of Sydney in 2014. He has published his research in local and international journals. Dr Chow is a Staff Specialist at Concord Hospital and is a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney.

Graduating from the University of Sydney in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science and an MBBS, Dr Chua commenced his junior medical officer appointment at Royal North Shore Hospital before being accepted into the Royal Australian College of Ophthalmology training course. As a registrar, Dr Chua was heavily involved in the Blue Mountains Eye Study as both the study coordinator and a clinical examiner based at the Centre for Vision Research within Westmead Hospital.

Completing his ophthalmic training at the Sydney Eye Hospital, Dr Chua undertook a further fellowship to subspecialise in glaucoma at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne before returning to Sydney to continue his clinical and research commitments. Dr Chua has presented at numerous scientific congresses and has authored over a dozen articles published in peer reviewed journals. He is also on the medical resuscitation team as a volunteer doctor for the annual City to Surf fun run.

Doctor Chung graduated from University of Hong Kong and received his training in general medicine and gastroenterology in Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong. Dr Coffey is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Clinical Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University. He has a particular interest in primary and revision hip and knee replacement as well as lower limb reconstruction and sports injuries. Dr Coffey has been in specialist orthopaedic practice since 1997. He has held senior clinical administrative roles as department head and AOA State Chairman. He continues to be actively involved in student and registrar training. He is a regular invited guest lecturer at instructional courses in joint replacement held within Australia and internationally.

Dr Coffey is a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Australian Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Australian Medical Association.
