Raewyn is a rhinologist and skull base surgeon based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital and The Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney, Australia. Raewyn completed fellowships in rhinology and skull base surgery at Auckland City and North Shore Hospitals in Auckland, New Zealand, The Hospital for the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and at Ohio State University Hospital/The James Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Columbus, Ohio.
Raewyn has published over 40 journal articles and book chapters and has presented at specialist conferences all over the world. She is actively involved in teaching medical students and ear, nose and throat surgical trainees and teaches at rhinology and skull base courses internationally.

Professor Cartmill is the Professor of Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie University, and Chairman of Macquarie GI. He has been instrumental in the development of Macquarie University Hospital. Erin Chalk is Certified Practising Speech Pathologist working as part of the Macquarie University Speech Pathology clinical team. Erin currently provides speech pathology services to Macquarie University Hospital, as well as outpatient services at Macquarie University Speech and Hearing Clinic. Erin has been a Clinical Educator for Speech Pathology masters students completing placements at Macquarie University Private Hospital and Mt Wilga Private Hospital, since 2013. She has experience working with the adult population in rehabilitation, nursing home and acute hospital settings.

Dr Bernard Champion is a Sydney-trained Endocrinologist at Macquarie University Hospital. He started life at Macquarie University in Actuarial Studies, where after 5 a year stint he relinquished such lofty ambitions for a return to the more austere environment of the UNSW’s SVH Clinical School followed by residency and basic physician training at Royal North Shore Hospital, before moving on to complete 3 years of Advanced Training in Endocrinology at POW, St George and Westmead Hospitals.

After a 3-year stint as a VMO in Geelong he spent 12 years at Nepean Hospital and Nepean Clinical School with the University of Sydney Medical Program. From 2011-2016 he was Head of Department, Endocrinology & Diabetes at Nepean Hospital. He has held various state and national appointments including the Editorial Panel and Series Editor for Endocrinology Today, expert reviewer for IMJ, MJA & AFP, national FRACP Written Exam Committee member, Chair of the NSW/ACT Central Panel for Endocrine Advanced Training and as well as post graduate qualification in Medical Education and a role as Clinical Studies Coordinator for the entire Sydney Medical Program from 2014-2016.

In late 2016, he commenced as Associate Professor in Medicine at Macquarie University, where he assisted with the successful Stage 2 AMC accreditation process for the Macquarie MD program, as well as commencing inpatient and outpatient practice at Macquarie University. He also maintains a busy private practice at Nepean. In addition to medical education, his clinical and research interests include pituitary, adrenal, and thyroid disease, along with metabolic disease including diabetes and obesity. He runs a dedicated multidisciplinary pituitary& adrenal clinic at Macquarie University catering for public and privately insured patients.

Dr Simon Chan obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney. In 1998, he was awarded the Zimmer Research Fellowship at the Jo Miller Laboratory in Montreal. He returned to Sydney for his clinical orthopaedic training. He then completed Hand Surgery Fellowships in world-renowned units at the University of Hong Kong and the Pulvertaft Hand Centre in Derby, UK. Dr Chan treats patients with all hand surgical conditions. His main areas of interest include carpal injuries, complex wrist fractures, finger joint replacements and minimally invasive surgery (e.g. endoscopic carpal tunnel decompression and wrist arthroscopy). He has a public hospital appointment at Westmead Hospital, where he is the only surgeon who has completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery. Dr Chan is actively involved in training students, junior doctors and surgeons. He is a moderator for the internet discussion group “Hand Surgery International”.

Dr Chan graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1986 with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery. After gaining experience in general medicine, surgery, emergency medicine and paediatrics, he developed an interest in obstetrics and gynaecology. He received the Gold Medal for the MRANZCOG examination in 1990 and was admitted to the Westmead Hospital Integrated Training Program, becoming the first fellow in gynaecological oncology at the hospital.

In 1996 Dr Chan undertook his fellowship at King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth, where he developed a keen interest in defining the role of laparoscopic surgery in gynaecological oncology. In 1997 he had the opportunity to work alongside leading UK specialists at St Bartholomew's, Royal Marsden and Royal London Hospitals. He gained further expertise in gynaecological surgery after attending a master class with French surgeons Dr Queleu and Dr Dargent, and UK surgeon Professor John Monaghan. Dr Chan is currently Director of Gynaecological Oncology at Liverpool Hospital, treating women with gynaecological malignancies. He also operates out of Macquarie University Hospital.
