Dr Lisa Shim is a Gastroenterologist at Macquarie University Clinic. She graduated at UNSW in 2002 and completed her physician training at both Concord Hospital and Nepean Hospital, NSW. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physician in 2009. Subsequently Dr Shim undertook Master of Philosophy (University of Sydney) at the Royal North Shore Hospital focusing on gut dysmotility. Dr Wiseman is a female specialist gastroenterologist who has private rooms in Eastwood. Dr Wiseman knows the importance of listening to her patient’s problems and she offers practical advice and management of common gastrointestinal complaints such as constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, bleeding from the bowel, jaundice, reflux and bloating. She has an interest in treating patients with liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and those requiring bowel cancer screening.

Doctor Chung graduated from University of Hong Kong and received his training in general medicine and gastroenterology in Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong. He has been working in the same department after training. He was an accomplished clinician and a keen researcher. He has extensive publications in leading international medical jounrnals. Associate Professor Lee is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist, clinical associate professor at Macquarie University and currently leads the liver services at Concord and Canterbury Hospitals, where she is a senior staff member. A graduate from the University of Sydney, Associate Professor Lee completed a PhD in liver disease (Sydney University) and remains active in teaching and clinical research. In addition to providing general gastroenterology services, she has extensive experience in viral hepatitis, and the clinical application of non-invasive liver fibrosis measures including fibroscan.

Associate Professor Leong is a consultant gastroenterologist and associate professor of medicine at the University of New South Wales and Macquarie University. He is the current director of endoscopy and senior staff specialist at Concord Hospital, and former director of gastroenterology at Bankstown, where he is currently a staff specialist.
